Jackson House Bed & Breakfast York County PA

Pennsylvania's Rail & Trail Destination

Welcome to the Jackson House Bed & Breakfast in Railroad, Pennsylvania. Built in 1859, the Jackson House is located in charming Southern York County and is right on the Heritage Bike Trail, just 1 1/2 miles from New Freedom, home of the Steam Into History Train.

Steam Into History Train

Walk, run, or ride a bike along the 46-mile Heritage Rail/NCR Trail. Soak in the hot tub or stroll through the gardens sipping a glass of wine from one of the many wineries nearby. Jackson House features a large stone dining room where a hot breakfast is served to guests each morning; the six guest rooms are finely appointed with antique furnishings, each with private bath and air conditioning.

COVID-19 Precautions The safety and well-being of our guests is the highest priority of the Jackson House. As a result, we are constantly monitoring the CDC guidelines in respect to cleaning and distancing policies and have adjusted our practices accordingly.

We have increased hand washing by the innkeepers to meet or exceed CDC guidelines and we respectfully encourage our guests to also wash their hands more frequently. We have modified our dining room to support current physical distancing requirements and all food will be plated in the kitchen and served by the innkeepers. Family-style serving will be on hold until further notice. We have increased the thoroughness and frequency of our regular deep cleaning and disinfecting schedules of all spaces in the building and use CDC recommended cleaning products. We will continue to review CDC guidelines and update our procedures as necessary. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to us at 717-227-2022 or JacksonHouseBnB@comcast.net
